SHAKING HANDS WITH SANJAYDUTT
It is not good that Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister RR Patil holding Home-Ministry has suspended one policeman and instituted enquiry against eight others for hugging and shaking hands with Sanjay Dutt on his release on bail from Yerawada jail in Pune. Policemen are also human-beings, and it is not a sin to respond when a celebrity as a free bird himself comes forward for greetings with policemen on duty. It should not be forgotten that even the TADA judge convicting the film-star showed unusual courtesy by inviting convicted Sanjay Dutt to his chambers for a friendly chat after the court rose for the day!
